Wedding Vendors

Recommended Wedding Vendors

Here is a list of  wedding vendors that have worked on board the SS Sicamous Stern Wheeler, in Penticton BC. These vendors are all based locally in Penticton, or nearby in the South Okanagan, and would be happy to work with you for your wedding. For a review of our experiences with these vendors, feel free contact the Sicamous Society.

If you are working with Vines and Vows Wedding Planners, they will be able to help you narrow down your vendors, and can line up vendor interviews on your behalf – from a distance, or when you come for a visit to the Okanagan Valley.

Just a note: The SS Sicamous Society does not accept commissions for referrals, so this list is based on popularity, and crew experience.  If your favorite vendor is missing, just ask the crew. There are always new businesses and new talents, so we may not have met quite yet 🙂 Who ever you choose, be sure to do your own research too.

Wedding Cake Artists

Some families opt to bake their own cakes, others have cupcakes, tiered cakes, and even doughnut cakes. What ever your plans, we can accommodate your cake centered dreams. Cakes are usually displayed in the dining saloon (where the wedding reception takes place). They can be displayed on antique cabinets at either end of the room. Cake and dessert tables can also be set out in the ladies saloon (where the food is served) or on an individual table in the central reception area. Some cake artists are based in the South Okanagan (in Penticton and nearby areas), others are based further afield in Kelowna, and will bring the cake directly to you.
