The Wedding of Ashley and David at the SS Sicamous (Penticton, BC)
Photographed by Something Blue Photography
The wedding took place on a rainy day in June, with the ceremony out on the beach. Ashley loves the rain, and resolutely decided to keep the ceremony on the beach. The photographers and wedding guests opened their umbrellas and followed suit. These stunning images were the result.

Ashley and David stand in the middle of the dining saloon. Family and friends will gather here later that evening, to drink a toast and celebrate their marriage.

Bride and Groom have a quiet moment, relaxing alone together in the ladies saloon.
The bride stands on the observation deck, admiring the view outside, as the rain pitter-patters against the glass.
Bride and Groom embrace on the deck overlooking the grand stair case. Friends and family admire from below, just visible in the reflection of the gilt mirror, on the wall behind. The wedding ceremony has finished, and the vows have been exchanged, but the celebration has only just begun.
